We all know the story. Corruption oozes from Springfield's pores. For much too long, unprincipled and unethical politicians have put their interests ahead of ours. As a result, Illinois has become a national laughingstock. It’s time to end this for good. As a political outsider, I’m not beholden to special interests, so I’ll make the tough decisions based on merit, not the needs of cronies and conflicted parties.

• Promote Transparency and Accountability in Government: I will install glass walls in the Illinois government by requiring that all expenditures of state tax dollars be posted online.  That way, our taxpayers can track where their money is being spent.
  
  
• Change the Culture: My administration will lead by example. I will appoint my lieutenant governor to serve as our Chief Compliance Officer, with responsibility for developing and overseeing our policies to ensure they always reflect - and encompass - the highest standards.
  
  
• Make the Rules Fair: I will work to make the rules fair in Springfield. That includes instituting term limits for legislative leaders and enacting redistricting reforms.  That way, the system cannot be rigged any longer to protect the status quo.
